Truckee North Tahoe Transportation Management Association (TNT/TMA)

Truckee, Calif. (September 3, 2026) — Are you interested in transportation and mobility in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe region? Would you like to get more involved and help shape the future of regional transportation? The Truckee North Tahoe Transportation Management Association (TNT/TMA) is seeking candidates for four seats on its Board of Directors.

Available Board Seats

Four Board seats are up for election:

  • Two Resort Triangle At-Large Seats — Applicants may be located anywhere within Truckee or North Lake Tahoe.
  • One Tahoe City/West Shore Seat — Applicants must reside in or represent a business located in the Tahoe City/West Shore area.
  • One Donner Summit Seat — Applicants must reside in or represent a business located in the Donner Summit area.

Elected directors will serve a four-year term from November 2026 through November 2030, with the opportunity to run for subsequent four-year terms.

Preferred qualifications include experience or involvement in transportation, knowledge of local and regional transportation issues, and a commitment to developing innovative transportation solutions and resources for the Truckee-North Lake Tahoe region.

Board members are expected to attend monthly Board of Directors meetings, generally held on the first Thursday of each month from 8:00–10:00 a.m. Meetings are typically offered in a hybrid format.

About TNT/TMA

Founded in 1990, the TNT/TMA is a public-private nonprofit organization dedicated to developing innovative transportation solutions throughout the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee Resort Triangle. The Board of Directors is composed of business and community representatives from North Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Incline Village-Crystal Bay, as well as government and regional transportation representatives serving the area.

  • Your name
  • The Board seat for which you would like to be considered
  • Your relevant experience, qualifications, and interest in serving on the TNT/TMA Board

The TNT/TMA Board of Directors will evaluate candidates’ eligibility in accordance with the TNT/TMA Manual of Policies and Procedures. Eligible candidates will be placed on a ballot and submitted to TNT/TMA membership for a vote. The elected candidates will be approved at the April 2027 TNT/TMA Board meeting.
